Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time Year B
Christ Forgives Our Sins.
Today we say Yes to the Lord who comes to
forgive us our sins, and we praise him who shows
such mercy to the poor and the weak.
Antiphon: Lord, your mercy is my hope, my heart rejoices in
your saving power. I will sing to the Lord for his goodness to me.
First Reading: A reading from the prophet Isaiah.
I it is who must blot out everything.
Responsorial Psalm:Heal my soul
forI have sinned against you
.
Second Reading: A reading from the second letter of St Paul to the Corinthians:
Jesus was never Yes and No: with him it was always Yes.
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Mark:
The Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.
