Fifth Sunday of Easter

Christ The True Vine
When, like St Paul, we 'believe in the name of
Jesus Christ', God lives in us and we in him. We
become branches of the true vine, Jesus Christ.

Antiphon: Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvellous
deeds; he has revealed to the nations his saving power, alleluia.

A Reading from the Acts of the Apostles.
Barnabas explained how the lord has appeared to saul on his journey.

Responsorial Psalm:You, Lord are my praise in the great assembly.

A Reading from the first letter of St John.
He commandments are these: that we believe in his Son
and that we love one another
.

A Reading from the holy Gospel according to John.
Whoever remains in me, with me in him, bears fruit in plenty.
